Step 1: Fill out the Update Form
Fill out the Aadhaar update form, which can be downloaded from the UIDAI website or is easily available at any Aadhaar enrollment center. Ensure that you fill out all the necessary details and sign the form.
Step 2: Visit the Enrollment Center
Visit the enrollment center with the filled form and provide your biometric details like fingerprints and iris capture. The concerned person at the center will capture your live photograph.
Step 3: Pay the Fee
A fee of ₹100 will have to be paid to update your photo in the Aadhaar card. The fee can be paid at the enrollment center.
Step 5: Check the Update Request Status
You can check the status of your update request through the URN on the UIDAI website. It may take up to 90 days for the request to be processed.
Download e-Aadhaar
Once your Aadhaar data is updated, you can download an e-Aadhaar or digital copy of the Aadhaar card from the UIDAI website. Ensure that your mobile number is registered with Aadhaar to access it online.
